We’re grateful to have been chosen as the electrical contractor for The Ponderosa House’s full commercial tenant improvement in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. It’s been one of our most rewarding projects, and we want to publicly thank the Ponderosa House team for trusting us with their vision.
What did we build at The Ponderosa House?
From start to finish, we delivered a complete electrical build-out for the bar and restaurant: power distribution, panel upgrades, data infrastructure and a custom lighting installation. We worked closely with the owners, the architects and the general contractor, Desert Metropolitan, so every electrical detail supported both function and atmosphere. How does the lighting set the mood?
The highlight of the project was the lighting. We installed layered lighting that highlights architectural features and menu displays and sets the dining mood throughout the restaurant. It all runs on a Lutron lighting system with a hub controller, for dimming and scenes as the day turns into evening.

What was it like to see the finished space?
After the project wrapped up, the owners graciously invited Randy and Tori to dinner at The Ponderosa House. The experience was phenomenal, easily one of the best meals we’ve had in the Valley. Sitting in the finished space, surrounded by the warm glow of the lighting and watching happy guests enjoy their meals, was the perfect way to celebrate. Thank you for the invitation and the chance to experience the restaurant the way your guests do.
